Congratulations to Taylor Community School Corporation being selected as a finalist for 2017 Public Institution of the Year by the Howard County Chamber of Commerce with Indiana Universty at Kokomo and Ivy Tech of Kokomo. This was celebrated on Thursday, November 2nd at the 103rd Annual Celebration. Congratulations to the Indiana University of Kokomo for being named Public Institution of the year. Once again proud of our students, parents, staff, administrative team, school board, and community. Go, Titans!

All enrolled TMS students can get their Chromebook for the 2017-2018 school year early. Hand out will be in the Taylor Media Center on August 14 from 5:00 to 7:00. Verification of enrollment is required and those not enrolled will need to enroll before getting Chromebook for the year.

It is flu season and we are seeing a number of cases here. Please, if your child is having flu symptoms or you question if they are, KEEP THEM HOME. Flu symptoms include: fever, body aches, cough, runny nose, sore throat, headache, weakness, or fatigue. Please consult your physician for questions. Also, a student must be fever free for 24 hours without medication before returning to school. That also applies to vomitting and diarrhea.

 Students-- you must come to school with your chromebook charged and ready for you to work on.  We DO NOT have any extra chromebook or chargers to pass out to you.

Students during lunch if you make a mess at the table or on floor, please pick up after yourself.

NO vending machines are to be used during school hours or during lunch.

Students, please check to see if your have your assigned chromebook, if not please bring it to the office.

Lost and found, please stop by and see if anything belongs to you.

MS Golf --  The first golf practice will be April 2, at Chippendale Golf Course at 4:30.  It is not too late to sign up for golf, see Mrs. Worthington in Rm 120 in the high school.

21st Century Scholars

Indiana’s 21st Century Scholars Program offers income-eligible Hoosier students up to four years of paid tuition at an eligible Indiana college or university after they graduate from high school. In middle and high school, 21st Century Scholars are connected to programs and resources to help them prepare for college. Once in college, Scholars receive support to complete their college degrees and connect to career opportunities.  For more information and to apply, click here.

You can enroll as a Scholar as early as 7th grade – but no later than June 30th of your 8th grade year.
